The EMG JMaster pickup is inspired by the look, feel and sound of classic, time-tested pickup designs. As part of the Retro Active Line Up, the pickups feature Alnico 5 rods and wide stacked coils for a rich and balanced single coil tone. And like all EMG active pickups, the JMasters are free of hum and incredibly easy to install. The pickguard system also features a powerful set of master EQ controls on the upper horn of the instrument.
